Hu Nan Hai Lian Grain and Oil Science and Technology CO. Ltd was founded in 1993. Today it is recognized as a National High Technology Enterprise. The Company provides professional services to the “Three Agricultures”, develops and sells new products for high-grade grain and oil, and supplies whole-set equipment integrating “Science and Industry and Trade”.
The Company is a shareholder in and Vice-Director-General of Hu Nan Long Ping Hi-Tech Grain Planting Professional Cooperative. The Long Ping Grain Cooperative Grain and Oil Technical Research Institute, Hai Lian Sunshine Healthy Food Dispatching Co., Ltd, Hai Lian Organic Food Store, Hai Lian Grain and Oil Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd, Hai lian Ming Du International Club and Mao Jia Restaurant are all subsidiaries of the Institute. The Company has one organic food tasting restaurant and one business chamber mansion which take up an area of 10000 square meters, one science research producing base, and two technical testing bases.
The Company has undertaken several science and research tasks which belong to national “XinHuo ”, “HuoJu” plans, and has developed 15 types of special “HaiLian Techniques ” and “Hai Lian products”. These techniques and products have been sold to more than 5000 companies in China and Southeast Asia, and they have been given “Technology Innovative Gold Prize” and “Quality Management Prize” and received good comments from customers. The Company has been recognized as a Hunan Province “Hi-Tech Enterprise”, “Respecting to Contract and Credit ” units and “ AAA” company of banking credit for several years.
The founder of the Company, Zhou Heping, is a high-grade engineer and economics manager, an expert of the national grain and oil industry, and has been elected to the Chinese Inventor List. He has gained 11 national patents such as Rice-hull Selecting machine, Husk and Ground Rice Separating Machine, Mixed Rice Machine, Germinated Brown Rice Machine and Dust Integrating Handling Technology and so on. Some of these patents have been taken as Chinese Grain College teaching material, and some of them have been taken as National standards. Now there are more than ten thousand machines being used, and they have created social value which is more than one hundred billion RMB (yuan).
